Rhinosinusitis is one of the most common diseases that affects people regardless of their age, social status and place of living. Infection enters the body through the upper respiratory tract, the entrance gate is mainly the nasal mucous membrane. In the case of long-term acute inflammation, complications can develop with the formation of chronic processes: irreversible changes in the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, bacterial inflammation, persistent swelling of the mucous membrane. Therefore, it is advisable to conduct timely not only symptomatic, but also anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial therapy of rhinosinusite. The article shows the effectiveness of the nasal spray Euphorbium compositum® Nazentropfen C in the treatment of rhinosinusitis. This drug can be recommended for the treatment of various forms of rhinosinusitis. Studies of the use of Euphorbium compositum® have shown a multi-purpose mechanism of drug action. Euphorbium compositum® maintains mucous membrane function due to its antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. To achieve the best results, the drug should be used at the first signs of starting rhinosinusitis.
