Experience of the use of an adhesion barrier in patients with tubal peritoneal factor infertility

Currently the leading cause of the female infertility (up to 72% according to some sources) is a tubal-peritoneal factor. Among the causes of infertility in this case may be: transferred inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs, intra-uterine operations, surgical interventions on the organs of the abdominal cavity and small pelvis, endometriosis. In the recovery period after the abdominal operations in 63-92% of cases, the intraperitoneal and pelvic adhesions were noticed.
Taking into account the current trends in the operative gynecology, the most important and promising way to prevent adhesions after operations on the abdominal and pelvic organs in patients planning pregnancy is the use of special antiseptic drugs, the main principle of which is the temporary dissociation of wound surfaces for the period of the most intensive tissue incarnation (the first 5-7 days after surgery).
The adequate intraoperative anti-adhesion prophylaxis by using the complex gel Antiadhesin with hyaluronic acid and carboxymethylcellulose helps to reduce the risk of formation of adhesions in the small pelvis and residual complications of the adhesion process, as well as the onset of pregnancy.

Key words: gynecological operations, infertility, tubal-peritoneal factor, adhesion process, endometriosis, antiadhesin.
