Methods of diagnosis and treatment of cervical precancer associated with pregnancy

Pregnancy and malignant diseases represent a non-standard and complex clinical situation, the trend towards which has increased in recent years. This is related to the increase in the average age of pregnant women and the high prevalence of HPV infection. In the structure of gynecological tumors associated with pregnancy, cervical cancer ranks first. The combination of cervical cancer and pregnancy is complicated not by the possibility of carrying out a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic measures, as it is necessary to think about the risks on the part of both the mother and the fetus. This article examines the points of view of domestic and international experts dealing with this problem, which is at the intersection of specialties. Also this article considers the methods of diagnosis and management of pregnant women with the cervical precancer. In recent years, there has been a trend towards dynamic observation, when it comes to precancerous conditions. Also, variants of organ-preserving surgeries in the case of microinvasive cervical cancer are considered.
In connection with the urgency of this problem, it is advisable to study the optimal methods of diagnosis, management and treatment of patients with the cervical precancer associated with pregnancy.
