Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are among the most common infectious diseases that tend to recur and significantly worsen the life quality of patients with acute and recurrent cystitis. Modern clinical guidelines regulate the procedure for diagnosis and the main therapeutic algorithms in bacterial cystitis. Compliance with these guidelines allows doctors of different specialties to exclude neurological diseases manifested by urination disorders and prescribe adequate therapy. The article presents two clinical cases of patients treated with a dietary supplement containing a combination of Cran-Max Cranberry, D-mannose and vitamin D3. In a patient with viral cystitis associated with COVID-19, treatment with this dietary supplement allowed to stop dysuria and significantly improve the clinical condition. In another case, this dietary supplement proved to be a safe and effective method to solve the problem of recurrent infectious and inflammatory diseases of the urinary system.

Keywords: acute cystitis, recurrent cystitis, diagnosis of cystitis, dysuria, COVID-19-associated cystitis, antibiotic resistance.
