Results: the laboratory study analysis revealed a significant increase in white blood cells in the group of pregnant women with rhinitis (average 8,5±1,3×109/l) compared with the control group (average 6,7±0,3×109/l). There were no significant differences in the indices in two groups. Respiratory epithelial clearance was comparable in 2 groups and was within the normal range. An increase in leukocytes and neutrophils count in the rhinocytogram was revealed.
Сonclusion: rhinitis symptoms in pregnant women were more often manifested in the first trimester of pregnancy. There were no statistically significant differences in eosinophils in the nasal cell-smear in pregnant women with rhinitis.
